HITACHI Distributed Control System EX Series
Brand:HITACHI
Introduction:
Since its market launch in 1975, HITACHI Distributed Control System (DCS) EX Series has been widely adopted as a monitoring system in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, food, energy, water treatment, and environmental protection by numerous customers.
Based on the trust of its customers built up over many years, HITACHI has completely updated the functions of its DCS system to provide an optimized operating environment.
Upon adoption of the latest version of Windows as the OS, the operability of the system has been improved by leaps and bounds. Engineering configuration functions have been updated from a user-oriented perspective.
Features
■ Optimized control performance and high-speed computing functions are achieved through the adoption of a microcomputer with an SH4 RISC processor that represents the essence of HITACHI microcomputer technology. The RISP CPU, which serves as the input equipment for SH4 microcomputers, is utilized by a large number of users due to its exceptional operational stability.
■ Required display may be opened in windowed mode with support for high-efficiency operations.
■ Utilization of sequence diagrams to describe complex variations of batch processes; clearly defined procedures, output modes, and conditions ensure a firm grasp of current and subsequent processes; display of signal annotations, ON/OFF, timer/counter values; visualized monitoring and control of manufacturing processes is realized through automatic rotation of executed steps
■ Development of a keyboard exclusively for DCS, allowing quick access to required display through programmable functional keys (a total of 76) and synchronized control of various meters and gauges which is hard to achieve through keyboard inputs.
